Kevin Lewis - Electric and
Acoustic Guitar, Bass Instructor - "Owing to his
well-trained ear and phenomenal musical
intuition, Kevin Lewis is one of those amazing musicians who can play
with musicians he has just met as well as if they had been rehearsing
for years! For fifteen years he was an essential member of the band at
Celebration Circle, an arts-based Sunday morning worship
gathering. For five years he was a regular member of Butch Morgan’s
Wednesday night band at Casbeers, where he accompanied different guest
musicians each week. At the 2007 Sound Connections Music Conference he
played for several hours each night, accompanying a steady stream of
performers he’d never met as they each played a song. He has performed
and recorded for over thirty years, sharing the stage with numerous
artists and groups including: Doug Sahm, Augie Meyers, Shawn Phillips,
Tish Hinojosa, Stephanie Urbina-Jones, Rachel Bissex, Tom Prasada-Rao,
Michael Waid, Chris Pfeiffer, Ruthie Foster, Terri Hendrix and Lloyd
Maines, Ruben V, Toat-Lee Bluz, Trinidad Pan Masters/World Tribe, Mark
Monaco, Alisa Claridy, Will Owen-Gage, and Johnsmith. He played the
2006 summer season in a musical production at the Josephine Theater,
and performed
for the President of Finland with Jartse Tuominen’s band at the 2002
Winter Olympics. He keeps a busy schedule teaching guitar and bass."

Aaron Christopher Pile - Electric
& Acoustic Guitar Instructor-
Aaron's
passion for music began in the tiny town of Elbing, Kansas, where
he grew up. With a population of less than 200 and little else to do,
Aaron could
be found in his room for hours every day, teaching himself to play his
dad's
old guitar. Those years defined the direction of his life. Aaron
developed an
uncompromising love for music, being classically trained on the
clarinet and
singing in his school's choir, but the guitar being his favorite by far.
Aaron began leading
worship in high school during weekly chapels and at church
with his dad. This is where he felt his calling truly was, and he
continued to
lead worship at church throughout college. While attending Butler Community
College,
Aaron primarily took music courses and was blessed by the opportunity
to serve
as the lead guitarist for a nationally recognized showchoir, the Butler
Headliners, and was able to perform across the country, including in New York, where the
choir hosted a national showchoir competition. As well as playing in
the combo
for the Headliners and singing in the collegiate choir, Aaron
successfully
auditioned for the internationally recognized barbershop quartet, the
Smorgaschords. While he sang baritone for the Smorgaschords, the
quartet
competed at the regional quartet competition and qualified for the
International Barbershop competition, where they placed 16th
internationally.
Aaron is also a
singer-songwriter, and until moving to Texas
in 2008, he played as the guitarist for a still successful band called
Hopkins
Switch playing in the Wichita
area. He has entered and placed in several songwriting competitions,
and some
of his material can be found on Itunes and on compilation CDs sold at
Walmart
stores. He still loves playing small shows at various coffee shops and
restaurants in the San Antonio
area.
Aaron is currently
serving as the Pastor of Worship at Hill Country
Church at Fair Oaks Ranch
with his wife, Lanie, and is excited to be able to share his love of
music with
the community of Boerne.
